    Everything you need to know

    Rehearsal Cocktails

    Brannan's Grill  5:00 pm to 7:30 pm
    (slightly dressy but casual)
Starting the party early and hoping to spend more time with dear friends and family.  Everyone is welcome to join us if you can make it!

    Wine Tasting

    Chateau Montelena  | 1 to 2:15 pm
    (Optional and casual)
We've arranged a bus to take you from downtown Calistoga to the winery and back so you won't have to worry about driving.
A school bus will pick you up in front of Calistoga Inn and will head back to Calistoga Inn at 2:15pm. You'll return to Calistoga by 2:30pm.  If you miss the bus back, you'll might need to walk back (2 miles) or call a taxi.
The wine tasting costs $25 per tasting (can be split between 2 people) and is waived once you buy a certain amount of wine.
This is a fantastic winery with legendary history.  The Chinese gardens are well worth a stroll after sipping some world-class wine.  A blind tasting in Paris in 1972 of their Chardonnay put Napa on the map!  (See the movie Bottle Shock for background)
Tip: there are also some great wine tasting rooms as you stroll down downtown Calistoga. No car required!

    4:30 PM | Shuttle pick-ups #2 (same place)

8:30 PM | Desserts and Dancing
11:30 PM | Afterparty at Susie's Bar in Calistoga
*wine is served at the table with dinner, but if you would prefer cocktails, the main bar is open throughout dinner until 10:30 pm

    Morning Coffee & Breakfast

    Calistoga Roastery | 10am-Noonish
    (Totally casual and totally optional)
Come by to say goodbye or just hang out with us before you leave town and grab a latte & croissant to go! (or whatever tickles your fancy)
Everyone is Welcome, especially the people who couldn't make it on Friday evening.
To make things easier for people who are leaving town at different times, we're just going to hang out at a local coffee shop (who makes some amazing bagel sandwiches and has all sorts of yummy pastries!)
*IMPORTANT: before you order, make sure you are with the wedding party so they can get a receipt to tally up. Or else you'll be stuck paying for your own coffee.

Nested in the beautiful Mayacamas Mountains above Calistoga, California

Calistoga is a quaint little town at the northern edge of Napa Valley.  It is known for its mineral hot springs, mud baths, spas, and wineries (especially Chateau Montelena, who put Napa on the map at the Judgement of Paris in 1976).  Calistoga is a glimpse into old Napa, before it became a world-renowned tourist attraction.  Right after graduating from college, Mei lived in Calistoga for a while and it has always remained a special place.

    Getting There

    (SJC | SMF)
San Francisco and Oakland Airports are the closest, but San Jose and Sacramento could also work if flights are more reasonably priced from those airports.
rental car is highly recommended for getting around. However, Evans Transportation offers a shuttle bus (cash only!) to and from SFO & OAK from downtown Napa. Of course, there is also Uber, Lyft, and old ol' taxis.

Shuttles To and From Downtown Calistoga

TO: Shuttles from downtown Calistoga to the winery will be at 3:45pm and 4:30pm.
FROM: Shuttle service returning from the winery will begin at 9pm and run continuously until all the guests have departed.  The night shuttle is a 14-person van that will drop you off at your hotel in Calistoga.

    Driving Yourself

The winery has a large parking lot (up to 50 cars), which guests may freely use.  You may also leave your car overnight at the winery and retrieve it the next day as well.  The owner kindly asks that all overnight vehicles are removed by Noon on Sunday (10/4).

Here's a list of places in and around Calistoga that are still available

Here is a spreadsheet to help everyone coordinate shared housing.

    Washington Street Lodging

    Calistoga, CA
    $165/night + tax
We have ONE cottage reserved for Friday and Saturday nights that can sleep 3 (1 queen and 1 twin). Email me if you want it.

    Calistoga Inn (+Restaurant & Brewery)

    Calistoga, CA
    $169/night + tax
This one's a bit unconventional. 16 newly renovated rooms attached to a popular restaurant BUT with separate M/F bathrooms down each hall, no TVs, and no phone.  However, with the central downtown location + free breakfast, it's hard to beat if you're willing to "rough it."  Don't forget your flip flops (just like college again!)
As of 9/23, there are only 2 rooms left for Saturday night only. Call them directly to book.
    Calistoga, CA
    $279-299/night + tax
    2 night minimum
    • Free Wifi
    • Complimentary breakfast
    • Pool
    Calistoga, CA
$600/night (2 night min) for up to 4 guests
This lovely cottage is owned by winery owner's sister and is just a few minutes away from the venue on foot.  The cottage is still available for Oct 2-4th. Please contact Karen Fahden to book.
    Calistoga, St. Helena, Santa Rosa
    $ - $$$$
Always a great option for families or groups to share.  Many do have minimum stay requirements.  We will be providing shuttle service from downtown Calistoga, so consider the winding mountain roads at night when picking a location if you're not staying in Calistoga.
    $ - $$$$

Here's a more comprehensive list of accommodations in the area, including smaller B&Bs that are often not listed on search aggregator sites like Expedia.

    Santa Rosa

About 20 min away towards the West (off the 101), there are some reasonably priced places available.  But don't expect the Ritz.  But please know the road from Calistoga to Santa Rosa is quite windy and dark at night.
